Ads/Promotion Information....

Southeastern founder, Dave Samuels enjoyed a very successful 20 year advertising and sales promotion career in Connecticut before moving to Largo Florida and starting Antique Autos of America.  Antique Autos was considered one of the top classic car restoration companies in the country.  Upon conceiving and creating the Southeastern Cord, he put his background in advertising and sales promotion to work on marketing the car.  Great photos, attractive layouts, well written advertising copy, and well known authoritative endorsements, including noted designer of the original Cord, Gordon Buehrig were important parts of his marketing strategy.  These qualities are quickly noted as one reviews the following marketing materials.  He also transported the new Southeastern Cord 815-1 for showing at the 1981 annual New York, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles new car Auto Shows.  Many of Samuel’s  promotional materials are included here:

In a "Motor Trend" study of American and European Designers, the 1936-37 Cord Design was voted the most beautiful car ever built.

Selected by the History Channel, the 1936-37 Cord was the fourth most important car built in the 20th century.
